AutoZen – This App Lets You Turn Your Phone into an Android Auto head Unit

You drive a car and it doesn’t have an Android Auto head unit but you want to use it, what would you do? Well, the Google Play Store is heaven for apps but not all apps are worth a shot. Presenting the AutoZen that offers a complete Android Auto experience while addressing some of the issues that third-party Android Auto apps face.

Turn your phone into an Android Auto head unit with AutoZen

AutoZen from ZenThek is a third-party car launcher. It transforms your phone’s screen into a car’s Android Auto head unit that you can use for the same. It has a plethora of features to be honest. First up, it traces your location and shows you the current location, let’s you find a route to your destination that you can set by dragging the map or by searching the destination in the search box.

The app has a “Phone” app that opens all your contacts. You don’t have to toggle between AutoZen and the phone app as the former lets you make a call or receive just like that. Search for places like parking spots, nearby gas stations, restaurants, and more on AutoZen.

When you install it, you get a ton of buttons each with a function. On the bottom bar on the screen, the first button on the extreme left lets you check out a myriad of apps like Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, Play Store, and so on. You can watch videos or use its music playback support to listen to endless music. Plus, you get cool-looking media controls at the bottom of the screen so you don’t have to open the app everything you want to do something like changing the song or forward it.

I dig a bit deeper to find more features such as turn-by-turn navigation, voice command support, speed limits and speed camera alerts, and more. The app even has a light and a dark theme which is something that has become homologous with Android apps nowadays. Apparently, the list doesn’t end. You can download its free version which is limited in functionality or purchase its premium plan to use it full-fledged.
