New Beats Studio Buds TWS Spotted on iOS 14.6 Beta Build, Launch Seems Imminent

With every iOS build, we get to see something or the other pop up way ahead of its launch. Be it a feature or an upcoming product but the information is hidden somewhere and ready to be discovered. With the new iOS 14.6 and tvOS 14.6 Betas floating on iOS devices, Steve Moser on MacRumors has stumbled upon an upcoming product aka the Beats Studio Buds. These wire-free earbuds are branded by Beats and will be launched soon although ‘when’ is still a question.

“Beats Studio Buds” spotted in iOS 14.6 beta

As the report puts it, the newly discovered product Beats Studio Buds are unlike any previous earbuds. There’s no stem or ear wraps (ear hooks) and there’s no wire either like Powerbeats Pro. The upcoming Beats Studio Buds are truly wireless (TWS) and have an in-ear design and are tiny in size as can be seen in the photos below. For perspective, these look similar to Google Pixel Buds and Samsung Galaxy Buds.

Beats-branded Studio Buds TWS spotted on iOS 14.6 beta build, launch seems imminent

There are no doubt Beats, which is the brand behind these new earbuds, will have some top-of-the-line specs for the Beats Studio Buds. Some of the colors that these earbuds will be available are white, black, and red although more color options could arrive soon. With the earbuds, you also get a similar-colored oval-shaped case that lets you store it in style without worrying that you might lose it.

According to the reports, these upcoming Beats Studio Buds are expected to be the next-gen AirPods Pro since these upcoming earbuds will have a compact stem-less design. Although we will still have to wait for some leaks or official renders to arrive before concretizing our analysis based on early rumors.

As it goes without saying, there’s no timeline on the release of Beats Studio Buds, however, if reports are to be believed, then since the leaks appeared in iOS 14.6 betas, the launch could take place soon after the iOS 14.6 makes it to the market and it seems logical. However, there’s a possibility that the launch could take some more time since Apple hasn’t really quoted any date at the time of writing this.
