Dog killed before multiple shots fired into Northern California home

CHICO — A canine was shot and killed Sunday earlier than a person allegedly fired a number of gunshots right into a neighboring house.

Michael Douglas Marzolf, 52, of Chico was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty, taking pictures into an inhabited dwelling and willful discharge of a firearm in a grossly negligent method.

A caller stated they heard a number of gunshots close to the 1600 block of Filbert Avenue. Police arrived on the deal with and checked on two completely different properties, a press launch issued by the Chico Police Division stated.
