Dwayne Johnson says ‘Black Adam’ is his hardest role ever

We all are waiting for the new DC movie Black Adam. The widely acclaimed Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson says playing the anti-hero was his hardest role ever.

The WWE superstar turned actor recently shared a picture of himself on social media showing his training session. The picture was posted on Sunday on Instagram with the caption,

Big week for #BlackAdam shooting my ‘champion’ scenes with my shirt off and showing my body, Been working extremely hard dieting, training, and conditioning unlike any other role of my entire career.

He also said that he is thankful to whoever supports him. The upcoming DC movie Black Adam is a spin-off of Warner Bros and New Line Cinema’s ‘Shazam.’ The movie features Zachary Levi. Black Adam was introduced way back in the 1940s. He is a villain who is corrupted by power. In the 2000s, he became the anti-hero. Jaume Collet Serra, the director for ‘Jungle Cruise,’ which also features Dwayne, is directing Black Adam.

The comic follows the story of Teth-Adam, who is chosen by the ancient wizard Shazam. The Egyptian slave soon becomes the champion of humanity. The movie has been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see Black Adam in his full costume. According to Johnson, this is the hardest he has ever trained in his career spanning two decades.
