The upcoming Google Pixel 6 Pro doesn’t only have an in-house Tensor chipset but also an upgraded camera with a couple of improved features. As we can already see that this time Google has decided to provide more than one camera lens on the rear side on both Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models to break the ice of its traditional single rear camera module.
According to a new report from XDA Developers, it seems that the big brother Pixel 6 Pro will have some of the most exciting features of all time which will literally stand out in the competition except for Night Mode, 4x zoom, etc that becomes common things for flagship devices these days.
The highlighted leak is about Pixel 6 Pro’s video capabilities that include 4K @60FPS video recording on the main wide-angle camera (50MP) only on the rear side. While the ultra-wide camera (12MP) and telephoto camera (48MP) are only capable to record videos up to 4K @30FPS.
So, while video recording on the rear side, you’ll get 4K @60FPS (or 1080P @60FPS). You’ll also get 7x zoom while recording compared to the 5x zoom that’s already available on the Pixel 5. Whereas the rest of the two camera lens is capable of recording 30FPS at 4K which can go up to 20x zoom and allows seamless switching between all three lenses without any stuttering.
Additionally, the Google Pixel 6 Pro will have a front-facing 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor for taking selfie photos & videos. It seems that the ultra-wide-angle lens has made its return from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL lineup. It’s great for group selfies or shots that also can capture the background image.
However, there is no exact field of view known yet. The Pixel 6 Pro confirms that the two zoom levels are 0.7X and 1X respectively. While the standard Google Pixel 6 will just have an 8MP selfie shooter. Talking about the possible Pixel 6 series camera features, you’ll get manual white balance adjustment, magic eraser, face deblur, scene lock, front torch, Bluetooth microphone support, timer light, motion blur, Nima aesthetic, baby mode, frequent faces v2, portrait spotlight, and more.
Do keep in mind that all of the mentioned camera features are just coming out of leaks as of now. There is no genuine clarification on it.
