GTA 6 Could Arrive Later Next Year as per a Reputable Leakster

If you are a Grand Theft Auto (GTA) fan, you must be eagerly waiting for the next-gen GTA 6 that has been in the news for a while now. Albeit the game is still far from its launch, an insider has put a stipulated timeline on its launch.

GTA 6 could arrive later next year

Rockstar has been teasing the upcoming GTA 6 for a while now and not to forget the tonne of headlines the game has already made in the rumor mill and tabloids across the globe. As the anticipation grows exponentially, all people want is a release date to hold onto. According to a leakster who has a reputation for leaking out information about some of the blockbuster films like the Marvel series and Star Wars series, the GTA 6 could release in 2023 but Rockster could roll it out sooner.

GTA 6

As leakster ViewerAnon puts it, Rockstar won’t be releasing the GTA 6 before it releases the next-gen upgrade it has scheduled for GTA V.

Rockstar has scheduled a next-gen upgrade for GTA 5 in the latter part of 2021. With that being said, it only seems logical that the company won’t come up with the much-anticipated GTA 6 to steal away the thunder from the said upgrade.

The leakster further adds that Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption 2 a year earlier than its original release date. With that being said, Rockstar could mimic the same by releasing GTA VI late next year i.e. 2022. The said timeline is around a year earlier than its original 2023 release just as Red Dead Redemption 2 made its launch. He did mention that the said timeline works best if the COVID-19 condition doesn’t cause a setback. No doubt that if something happened in-between the said release schedule, Rockstar could potentially push the launch to 2023 although take all this information with a pinch of salt at the moment.

Rockstar has been hiring game testers at multiple locations and that has sparked the anticipation for the upcoming GTA 6 even higher. Given the fact that ViewerAnon has a reputable track record of leaks, the said timeline could actually be somewhat true. In any case, you need to take it with a pinch of salt at least for now.
