HBO has set a November four premiere for His Darkish Supplies, the anticipated miniseries primarily based on the Philip Pullman fantasy novels, starring Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ruth Wilson.

The eight-part sequence, penned by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Baby), covers the primary three books within the sequence: The Golden Compass, The Refined Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. The fantasy journey chronicles the approaching of age of Lyra and Will Parry as they wander by way of a sequence of parallel universes as a type of re-telling of Paradise Misplaced.

Miranda stars as Lee Scoresby, with Wilson as Mrs. Coulter, and Dafne Eager (Logan) as Lyra, in addition to James McAvoy (Atonement) as Lord Asriel, Clarke Peters (The Wire) as The Grasp of Jordan School, James Cosmo as Farder Coram, and Anne-Marie Duff as a Costa, with Will Eager as Father MacPhail and Ariyon Bakare as Lord Boreal.
The primary two episodes are directed by The King’s Speech Academy Award winner Tom Hooper.
