Honor 50 Pro+ Specs Leaked by Master Lu Benchmark: 6.79″ AMOLED 120 Hz Display, S888 Chip, Triple Camera

Honor is gearing for its next level i.e. the Honor 50 series. Perhaps, Honor will skip the 40 series and will directly release the Honor 50 series sometime in May. Turns out we just go a handful of specifications for the top-most variant Honor 50 Pro+ thanks to the courtesy of Master Lu benchmark.

Talking about the specifications for Honor 50 Pro+, Master Lu benchmark reports states that the device packs in a 6.79-inch AMOLED curved panel with a 1440p+ resolution. The device will arrive with HDR10+ support as well as a 120Hz refresh rate although variable or adaptive is not yet known. Honor 50 Pro+ will run on the latest Magic UI 4.0 UI based on Android 10 and with any Google apps and services (GMS) in China. Its availability outside China with or without Google services is yet to be revealed as well.

Moving on, the Pro+ will have the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC which is the flagship chipset of 2021 offering the best-in-class performance. It is paired with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage as its base model alongside 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. The GPU identified on the listing says Mali-G78 which is not through as Snapdragon 888 has an Adreno 660 GPU. Note that there will be other storage configurations available too once the device rolls out officially. The phone has 5G network support thanks to the inclusion of the Snapdragon X55 5G modem which goes without saying since it is a flagship smartphone we are talking about.

The Honor 50 Pro+ packs in a quad-camera setup as per the report. It packs in a 50MP primary sensor paired alongside 13MP ultrawide snapper, an 8MP telephoto sensor with a 50mm lens, and finally, a 3D ToF sensor. The front houses a dual-camera setup with a 32MP primary and an 8MP secondary snapper housed in a dual pill-shaped punch-hole cut-out.

Finally, the benchmark also mentions that the device will have a giant 4,400 mAh battery paired along with 66W wired and a 50W wireless charging tech on the go. Pricing and its availability are not yet known so we will have to wait for more information about the same.
