Before we dive deep into learning how to restore the Wi-Fi toggle in Android 12 using the Tasker application, we will list all the apps and files required to be downloaded before proceeding further
Prerequisites:
- Tasker: There is a good probability that you already own Tasker if you are an advanced user. Tasker, if you’ve never heard of it, is a sophisticated Android automation software that lets you establish rules and automate tasks. AutoTools and Tasker have been around for more than a decade, and in fact, developers have produced many scripts on Tasker and AutoTools that make our lives easier. - Press the green “Import” button
- After redirection to the Tasker app, confirm by pressing Yes.
- Two pop-up windows will now appear, one for enabling the profile and the other for launching the project. To continue, press the “Yes” button twice.
- Import the project and hit the checkmark in its upper-right corner to activate it on your Android 12 smartphone.
- Your QS panel should have an AutoNotification toggle QS tile added now that the project has been set up. Tap on the pencil symbol and hold and drag to create a new tile. The AutoNotification toggle that doesn’t have a number should be included. If you don’t want the Internet QS toggle to be shown twice, you may hide it in this step.
- The Wi-Fi toggle should now be visible in the Android 12 Quick Settings panel, as seen in the screenshot above. Open Tasker and run the project again if you don’t see it.
