Talk about the worst movies ever, and you will surely hear someone mentioning Howard The Duck.
The majority of people agree the movie is pure garbage and belongs in the same category as The Room, Vertika, and Mac and Me.
Howard The Duck has also made an appearance in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Endgame. To be honest, we have no idea why.
Now, the president at Marvel Studios, Kevin Fiege, is thinking of making a standalone for the duck. And who knows? They might have even found the director. If it ever goes to production, the movie might be directed by none other than Howard The Duck star Lea Thompson.
This Thursday, Lea tweeted.
I see Howard The Duck trending #3. That’s awesome. I love my duck. What if I get to direct Marvel reboot.
This is not the first time Lea has expressed the idea of making a movie featuring the duck. Back in 2018, in an interview with Inquisitr, she said,
To tell you the actual truth, I am going to Marvel to pitch Howard The Duck, a new movie.
While she might be joking back then, it seems the actress is pretty serious about making and directing Howard The Duck.
And it won’t be hard for her either. She has plenty of experience working in Switched at Birth, Young Sheldon, Stargirl, and The Year of Spectacular Men.
We really hope the movie doesn’t see the light of day since it will bring back some awful memories.
