In May this year, the Chinese manufacturer Huawei had launched the Matebook D15 powered by the AMD Ryzen 5000 series in China.
Now, Huawei is launching the same laptop in the UK powered by an 11th generation Intel processor. Coming to the specifications, the laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5-1135G7 chipset that is backed by 16GB of RAM, a full HD display, along with support for fast charging.
It features a 15.6-inch full-HD screen that makes use of an IPS panel for great picture quality. The brightness is set at 250 nits, which should be enough if you plan to use the laptop indoors and not under direct sunlight. However, Huawei is offering only one color- Space Gray.
Moreover, the HuaweiMateBook D15 comes with several connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. It also sports a USB 3.2 port, a headphone jack, two 2W speakers, and dual microphones. It comes with Intel Iris XE graphics. Although it isn’t powerful enough, if you are someone who uses the PC for normals tasks such as casual browsing and office work, it should be more than enough.
Moreover, you will also be able to play some eSports titles at low to medium settings at 1080p. However, you will need to keep in mind that the MateBook D15 has only 512GB of SSD storage. It comes with Windows 10 Home preinstalled and packs a 42Wh battery.
The Huawei MateBook D15 starts from £750, so make sure to get one before stocks run out!
