Bloomberg says iPhone 14 series will have a major redesign and a new entry-level model too next year

Apple has released its much-awaited iPhone 13 series devices almost a week ago and they seem to have industry-leading hardware specifications apart from stunning features or improvements than its predecessor. Now, it’s time to start speculating and predicting about the next year’s iPhone models for sure. We’ve already seen a couple of leaks or rumors about the iPhone 14 series changes or designs, this time Bloomberg has mentioned that the iPhone 14 series will have a major redesign and a new entry-level model too.

Meanwhile, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously mentioned that there will be no notch and Face ID from next year’s iPhone 14 series. Apple is working on the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a punch-hole camera display like Samsung Galaxy devices, a bumpless rear camera module, and more. It’s also speculated that there will be an entry-level iPhone model available with iPhone 14 series in the next year.

Now, we’ve previously seen the iPhone SE model as the entry-level iPhone in the family which isn’t though an entry-level at all for most people and in terms of the smartphone market globally. That new model could have 5G connectivity as well. Now, we’ll have to wait further to check whether there will be an improved version of the SE lineup will launch or Apple is really interested to release a true entry-level device that could have an entry-level processor with a lower price tag.

Coming to the iPhone 14 series, it’s also speculated that they’ll come with a 120Hz LTPO OLED display most probably. Meanwhile, Kuo has also predicted that the 14-series will have a 48MP sensor (binning for 2.5 µm pixels) to break the ice of the traditional 12MP sensor most probably. Even if these predictions or rumors aren’t applicable, there will be a huge redesign in the iPhone models in the next year for sure.

Multiple leaks are coming out that Apple is finally working on a redesigned part for its 14-series models that might include more rounded screen corners than before, USB Type-C charging port, physical dual-SIM slots, etc. Right now, Apple should be planning for design changes, developments, testings, and more for next year’s lineup. So, there won’t be any specific or finalized design you may see any time soon.

The upcoming iPhone 14 and 14 Pro should come up with 6.1-inches and 6.7-inches display sizes most probably. While the Pro Max model may have a slightly bigger display among all.
