iQOO Z3 5G originally launched in China last month featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G and a 120Hz display. Now, the handset’s India launch seems Imminent as the device has received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. As per tipster Mukul Sharma, the iQOO Z3 5G has bagged the BIS certification with the model number I2011, suggesting the India launch could be inching close. Since the phone has already been released in China, we already know what it has to offer.
Apart from the Snapdragon 768G and 120Hz display, the iQOO Z3 5G comes with triple rear cameras, 55W fast charging, and Android 11 OS out-of-the-box. Though the exact launch timeline of the phone is yet unknown, the phone may likely be introduced in the next few weeks. iQOO Z3 5G Specifications, Price
As the name suggests, iQOO Z3 5G is a 5G handset that sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera and runs Android 11 OS with custom iQOO UI 1.0 on top. The phone includes the Snapdragon 768G SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Further, the handset packs a 4,400mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
In terms of optics, the iQOO Z3 5G features a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor. The waterdrop notch at the front houses a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
For pricing, the iQOO Z3 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs RMB 1,699, which is roughly ₹18,800. The other two models, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage are priced at RMB 1,799 (roughly ₹20,000) and RMB 1,999 (roughly 22,200), respectively. We expect the iQOO Z3 5G in India could be priced under ₹20,000. The exact launch date is not yet clear, but we expect the brand to announce its upcoming phone soon.
