iQOO Z3 originally launched back in March in China with Snapdragon 768G SoC, 120Hz display, 55W fast charging, and more. Last month, we learned that the phone will also be launched in India when it bagged BIS certification. Now, the iQOO Z3 has been registered on the Indian IMEI database, hinting at the phone’s imminent launch in India. This is just after the company released the iQOO 7 series in the country.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the iQOO Z3 device has appeared on the IMEI database with the model number V2073A, suggesting the handset could soon be launched in India. When launched, the iQOO Z3 will likely be the most affordable phone from iQOO. This will compete with Realme and Xiaomi Redmi phones under the ₹20,000 segment.
iQOO Z3 5G Specifications, Features
Since the phone is already launched in China, we already know a lot about the iQOO Z3 specifications and the phone’s price. The mid-range segment smartphone features a 6.58-inch FHD+ waterdrop-style notch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The handset runs Android 11 with iQOO UI 1.0 custom skin on top and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone packs a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast charging support and comes with a USB Type-C port for charging.
For optics, the iQOO Z3 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor with LED flash and EIS. The other two cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there’s a 16MP camera for selfies and video chats.
Now coming to pricing, the iQOO Z3 5G launched in China in three storage configurations — a 6GB + 128GB model, an 8GB + 128GB variant, and an 8GB + 256GB storage option. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model price in China is CNY 1,699 (roughly ₹19,000) and the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly ₹20,500). Finally, the top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model carries a price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹22,750). The India price of iQOO Z3 should remain in a similar range.
