One of the most iconic Mexican Latin band, Los Bukis are reuniting for a concert tour. This will be the first time the band will come together after 25 years.
The announcement was made at the Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium on Monday. Five members of Los Bukis – Jose Javier Solis, Roberto Guadarrama, Eusebio Cortez (known as El Chivo), Pedro Sanchez and Marco Antonio Solis were present at the venue, while Joel Solis and Jose Guadarrama joined them via video conferencing.
The group is supposed to start their tour on August 27, which will comprise three concerts, with the first one being in Los Angeles. The other two will be held in Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 4, and the last one at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on September 15.
The lead singer of the band, Marco Antonio Solis, said at the news conference that the COVID-19 pandemic had given them the much-needed time for reflection, allowing them to take a peek “deep into our conscience and see what was there. It was there from where this idea came from.”
If you want to attend the concerts, the tickets to the “Una Historia Cantada,” translating to “History Sung,” will be available for presale. The presale begins on Tuesday at 10 AM, available through Citi Entertainment.
The normal ticket sale will be available to the general public on Friday at 10 AM local time. Make sure to grab one before the sale ends!
