In the last few days, we have covered a lot of news covering the upcoming Motorola Edge 20 series. Now, the prices of both phones have been tipped ahead of their scheduled release. Motorola recently revealed that the Moto Edge series would be coming to the Indian market on August 17 this month.
Both phones in the Motorola Edge series will offer 5G connectivity. If the leaks are to be believed, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will be the cheaper smartphone amongst the two and is rumoured to be the rebranded Motorola Edge 20 Lite.
According to the tipster Debayan Roy, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will come with a price tag of Rs 21,499 for the base variant that offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Having said that, the higher version that offers 8GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage will be priced at Rs 23,999.
Coming to the Motorola Edge 20, the 8GB and 128GB version will cost you Rs 29,999. Judging by the price, it looks like Motorola is pitching the Edge 20 Fusion against the Mi 11 Lite and the Edge 20 against the recently launched OnePlus Nord 2. Nonetheless, we suggest you take the pricing with a pinch of salt since it is not officially confirmed.
Like always, Motorola will sell both devices exclusively on the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart. The first sale date is scheduled to be released on the launch day. The Motorola Edge 20 will be the thinnest 5G smartphone in India after its launch, with the thickest part of the phone just 6.9mm wide.
Interestingly, it will be the first phone in the country to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and support for 11 5G bands. The cheaper Motorola Edge 20 Fusion might be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset.
