On August 17, Motorola will release the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. The phone will be first available in India. Having said that, the company recently gave us a glimpse of the design along with a few specs.
However, the e-commerce giant Flipkart has given us some new insight into the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion offers. Sold exclusively via Flipkart, the Edge 20 Fusion will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC.
In the camera department, the Edge 20 Fusion features a standard triple-camera setup that is common in mid-range devices. The primary camera is a 108MP sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. What’s interesting is that the ultrawide camera also helps take macro shots. The front camera consists of a 32MP shooter that should be enough for selfie lovers.
Moreover, the Edge 20 Fusion will be backed by a 90Hz 10-bit AMOLED screen that is 6.7-inch diagonally. The fingerprint is mounted on the side of the phone and features enhanced connectivity with support for 13 5G bands. It will come with Android 11 out of the box. Lenovo has also included the ThinkShield For Mobile security suite.
We expect the Edge 20 Fusion to be similar to the Edge 20 Lite, albeit with a different chipset. Along with the Fusion variant of the phone, Motorola is also scheduled to release the Edge 20, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and a 6.7-inch 144Hz FullHD+ OLED panel.
Motorola has hinted that they will not be bringing the Edge 20 Pro via their Twitter account.
