We all know how much Netflix loves to experiment with new concepts. As a result, the streaming service comes up with numerous weird shows all the time.
The latest to join the list is a dating show named ‘Sexy Beasts,’ where all the contestants will wear masks when going on a blind date. So you can say it’s a mixture of “The Masked Singer” coupled with “Love is Blind.” The show premieres on July 21.
The show will be narrated by the famous comedian Rob Delaney. It will send contestants on a masked date in weird costumes to see if personality alone can make a person fall in love.
It is based on a U.K. series. According to Netflix, the show will be an instant success with season two already in production. The company released the trailer on Wednesday and has more than 7 million views to date. Some of the contestants on the show include a fox, a panda, a scarecrow, a devil, and even aliens.
The viewers are in for a real treat. I hope the show puts a smile on peoples’ faces as they play along to discover who’ll fall in love with who and what our cast all really look like.– Simon Welton, the executive producer and creator of Sexy Beasts
