The streaming giant Netflix has revealed the cast of the upcoming live-action TV show ‘Cowboy Bebop.’

The cast of the show was seen wearing full costumes, makeup, and hair. It consists of John Cho (Spike Spiegel), Mustafa Shakir (Jet Black), and Daniella Pineda (Faye Valentine). Moreover, fans were excited to hear that the original Cowboy Bebop composter Yako Kanno will return for bebop scoring.

Netflix gave the fans some behind the scenes preview during the Netflix Geeked Week that took place on Tuesday. The series revolves around the ragtag crew of Spike Spiegel. They work as bounty hunters and, along the way, meet some colorful intergalactic characters. The antagonist, Vicious, is roaming somewhere in the universe, waiting for them to come face to face.

Andre Nemec and Jeff Pinkner are the show’s creators. They have worked on numerous shows such as Alias. There will be two directors on the set of Cowboy Bebop. One of them is Alex Garcia Lopez, who has worked on shows like Daredevil, The Witcher, The Punisher, whereas the second director is Michael Katleman. Michael has directed shows such as The Last Ship and the Primeval.

The show is based on the anime series that Sunrise Studios introduced. Yoko Kanno is the show’s original composer. He will return to the show. The original animated series last 26 episodes. Having said that, the Netflix show will comprise only 10 episodes. But it’s still unclear if the episodes will be for the first season or the entirety of the TV series. It is set to come out sometime this month.
