Google has apparently started rolling out a new update to the Pixel Stand app and added the setup flow for the Pixel 6’s new Stand. According to Mishaal Rahman, an Android geek and tech editor, there’s a new update rolling out to the Pixel Stand app. The app reportedly adds the setup flow for the Pixel 6’s new Stand. Rahman posted about the latest development on Twitter through a series of tweets.
According to Rahman, the latest update to the Pixel Stand app comes with version 1.4.0.401147603 and has started rolling out on Google Play. The ScoopSquare24 team also confirmed the update and found that the latest update with version 1.4.0.401147603 is now available on APK Mirror as well. Pixel Stand App Update: New Features
Google hasn’t added any description for the new update to the Pixel Stand app, but according to Rahman, the update adds setup flow for Pixel 6’s new Stand. There’s a new option with which Pixel phone users can change how Pixel Stand charges their phone at any time. Users can now quickly control their connected devices like lights, thermostats, etc. when charging their phone on Pixel Stand.
Apart from this, users can also charge their phone the way they want by choosing from the available options for the type of charging. You can see the options in the attached image above.
