Multiple reports are coming out that the upcoming OnePlus 10 series may not have any drastic changes or improvements to the design as compared to the OnePlus 9 or Nord. OnePlus 9 RT is expected to launch in India and China next month as one of the flagships in 2021. Obviously, then the company will focus on the OnePlus 10 which may get released in early 2022 expectedly.
Recently, a tipster Yogesh Brar has mentioned that the OnePlus 10 series won’t have any radical changes in overall design or form factor. It could be just a polished version of the OnePlus 9 and nothing else. While the big brother ‘OnePlus 10 Pro’ could come up with a slightly curved edge on the screen with a punch-hole design.
There are no other specific details available yet because the company is focused on the launch of the OnePlus 9 RT. It’s also expected that OnePlus is also working on a new Nord series phone and new accessories which may be announced at the next launch. The model is expected to launch at the October event.
OnePlus 9 RT Specs
Talking about the OnePlus 9 RT (MT2111), it has recently appeared on the BIS website and is expected to be launch soon. Although the listing doesn’t say anything specific, it will have a 6.55-inches Full-HD+ E3 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an under-display fingerprint scanner, a punch-hole camera cutout on the display, etc. It could come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
OnePlus 9 RT is expected to feature a 50MP (Sony IMX766) sensor with a 16MP (Sony IMX481) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP B/W sensor. On the front side, it’ll have a 16MP selfie shooter. Whereas a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with 65W fast-charging support seems quite good on paper. Additionally, the handset will have NFC, dual stereo speakers, an X-axis vibration motor, dual-band Wi-Fi, and more. It’ll be packed with Android 12 on top of OxygenOS 12.
