OnePlus 6 and 6T will soon get the Android 11 Open Beta

Last month, OnePlus released the first version of the Open Beta for its legacy devices- OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. It was surprising to see the company releasing the beta ahead of its scheduled release.

It looks like another beta build has been released. Based on Android 11, the beta will bring the devices to Oxygen OS 11. The Open Beta 3 improves performance in several areas by optimizing the background processes, thus enhancing the overall battery life..

It also fixes the problem with VoWiFi, the Work-Life Balance feature that was not working on the lock screen while increasing the video playback smoothness in the YouTube app. As usual, the update will improve the overall system stability.

If you are on the beta version of Android 11 on the OnePlus 6 or 6T, we want to remind you that the stable version of the OS is nearby. It is really surprising to see the Chinese manufacturer taking care of legacy devices. On the contrary, most of the devices have already bagged the Android 11 update a few months ago.
