Android 12 official stable version is about to release soon in a few weeks or so expectedly. Just like other brands, OPPO has been in the works to develop ColorOS 12 for several months and now the company has started rolling out the beta update based on Android 12. OPPO Find X3 Pro receives ColorOS 12 Beta with Android 12 as of now.
Although Oppo Find X3 Pro is listed on the Google’s Android 12 beta build, the update didn’t come with ColorOS 12 due to some reasons or maybe an incomplete development process. Last month the company gave a sneak peek of the new wallpapers that are coming in ColorOS 12.
Now, the time has finally arrived for the interested Oppo Find X3 Pro users to get hands-on with ColorOS 12 Beta. However, the update is currently available in Indonesia and Malaysia. Oppo didn’t mention anything specific when they’ll gonna roll out the same update in other regions.
It seems that ColorOS 12 Beta for the Oppo Find X3 Pro includes new features like visual improvements, new wallpapers, FlexDrop, Smart Sidebar 2.0, several performance improvements, new privacy & security features, etc. Meanwhile, the company has plans to announce more info on it via an online event on October 11, 2021 (9 AM GMT).
Multiple leaks are coming out that OPPO has decided to release ColorOS 12 update to almost 110 eligible device models across the globe in the near future that may stretch up to 2022. Some reports are also saying that it’ll be the fastest ever software update rollout in the history of OPPO that will cover more than 150 million users globally. That’s a huge number we would say. Well, more details will be unveiled at the upcoming online event.
Moreover, OPPO has already shared a release timeline for ColorOS 12 in China where the OPPO Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition variant will be the first-ever handset to receive ColorOS 12 update in the OPPO family. Additionally, the OnePlus 9 series is also gonna receive the ColorOS 12 update soon.
