OPPO gaming smartphone spotted on EUIPO

It seems like the OPPO team is working on a new gaming smartphone. It looks like the design has been leaked via the EUIPO website.

OPPO seems to have taken some inspiration from the popular gaming smartphone ASUS ROG Phone 5.

With gaming phones gaining massive popularity every day, smartphone manufacturers seem to be upping their ante and working on phones that cater to a gamer’s needs.

Every major phone maker, be it ASUS, Xiaomi, OnePlus, or Realme, already has their gaming phones in the market.

It looks like OPPO is following in their footsteps and working on their own device. An OPPO phone in the works was recently spotted on the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) certification website.

The certification, however, does not reveal the model number of the device but instead shows the images of the device.

Taking a closer look, the new device looks similar to the ASUS ROG Phone 5 and the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. It does not sport a notch or a punch-hole, similar to other gaming phones.

The rear of the phone sports a quad-camera setup and a unique design at the phone’s back. The power button of this new OPPO gaming smartphone is placed at the left of the phone, where you can also find the volume rockers.
