OPPO Reno 6 With 65W Charging Spotted on 3C Website, to Feature Dimensity 1200 SoC

OPPO’s upcoming smartphone, the Oppo Reno6, has reportedly been spotted on China’s 3C certification website. Last month, the device was tipped to have a model number PEPM00, and a few specifications of the phone were also tipped recently. The latest leak reveals some more information regarding the Reno5 successor, including the connectivity options and charging speed. The 3C certification of the OPPO Reno 6 reveals that the phone will support 65W fast charging and will have 5G connectivity as well.

OPPO Reno 6 Specifications, Features (Expected)

According to the 3C website, the upcoming OPPO Reno 6 will have 5G connectivity and support 65W fast charging. The certification didn’t reveal anything more about the upcoming phone, but we have more information based on the previous leaks. As per a past report, the Reno5 successor Reno6 will sport an OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There will be a punch-hole cutout mounted at the top-left corner of the screen for the selfie camera. A tipster had also claimed that the OPPO Reno 6 will have 30W wireless fast charging.

Under the hood, the Reno6 will include the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset is expected to run the latest Android 11 operating system with ColorOS 11.1 skin on top. There is no information on the camera system and battery pack though. However, it is speculated that there could be a larger battery pack and a high-resolution primary camera sensor.

OPPO is also reported to be working on the Pro model of the Reno6, which allegedly will have a PENM00 model number. The company usually launches two versions in the Reno lineup, which includes a standard version and a Pro version. Rumors have it that the upcoming OPPO Reno 6 Pro will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The rest of the information about this model is yet unknown.
