POCO X3 Pro Key Specifications Tipped ahead of Global Launch in March

Recently, a few leaks surfaced online regarding two Poco phones — the Poco F3, which is reported to be a rebranded Redmi K40, and the Poco X3 Pro, which is a 4G device. But now, key specifications of the POCO X3 Pro have been tipped ahead of its global launch by tipster Mukul Sharma. The upcoming phone is expected to launch alongside the POCO F3 device and is said to be unveiled later this month. Interestingly, the phone had already passed through several certification sites, hinting the device is ready for global launch. 

According to a tweet from tipster Mukul Sharma, the upcoming POCO X3 Pro and the POCO F3 are launching globally very soon. This latest POCO launch is expected to happen in March itself, probably by the fall of March 2021. The phone is speculated to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset, and the display is also tipped to have a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Like said before, the upcoming POCO X3 Pro will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 860 SoC and may run Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. Up until now, very little was known about this handset but the recent tweet reveals some useful information about the device. As per the tipster, the phone will sport an FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the handset is tipped to pack a 5,200mAh battery. Speaking of the processor, the Snapdragon 860 SoC is said to be an improved variant of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset with faster clock speeds. And the 5,200mAh battery, like most modern smartphones, should support fast charging.

This is the very limited information that we currently have about Xiaomi’s POCO X3 Pro, but POCO fans expect more leaks in the coming days. To those of you who don’t know about the POCO F3, which is expected to be a rebranded Redmi smartphone — the Redmi K40, it will also have an FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. If it’s indeed the Redmi K40, then the display panel should be a 6.67-inch screen and the processor should be the Snapdragon 870 chipset with 5G connectivity.

The Redmi K40 comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage and features a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. It runs an Android 11 based MIUI 12 operating system and packs a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
