Last month, MediaTek unveiled the Helio G96 Chipset. The SoC sports a 108MP camera and support for a 120Hz display. Barely a month has passed by, and today we have got our hands on a possible leak of the first device that will be sporting the recently unveiled chipset.
The Realme 8i is said to debut alongside the Realme 8s, which will come to the Indian smartphone market. Having said that, detailed official-looking renders of the phone have also found their way on the internet.
Moreover, the leaks also give us a glimpse at the hardware of the phone. Coming to the screen, the phone is said to feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display along with a 120 Hz refresh rate display and a hole-punch cutout that is said to house a 16MP camera on the front of the phone.
The phone’s backside is said to feature a 50MP primary sensor backed by a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro lens. The Realme 8i is rumored to come with 4GB of RAM and 128Gb of internal storage. It is said to be made of plastic and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Realme 8i will weigh 194g and will be 8.6mm thick at its thickest edge.
As expected, the phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack beside the USB C charging port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
