Realme GT Neo 3 offers 150W superfast charging

There are plenty of Android smartphones available in the market right now which support a higher watt of fast charging than traditional quick charging. Brands like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, etc are racing in terms of providing faster charging support and the OPPO’s sub-brand Realme is one of them. It looks like Realme GT Neo 3 has 150W superfast charging support out-of-the-box.

Xiaomi has already offered 120W fast charging support for its premium devices since 2021. Realme has officially announced ​at MWC 2022 that a 150W UltraDart charging support with its GT Neo 3 can be a center of attraction. Now, around a month later, this charging facility has officially launched in China.

The Realme GT Neo 3 model comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W flash charging claims to full the battery in just 32 minutes. However, the 4,500mAh GT Neo edition is a game-changer that supports full-speed 150W UltraDart charging which is enough to charge the battery up to 50% in just 5 minutes.

Additionally, the handset packs a 6.7-inches Full-HD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It offers Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the 94.2% screen-to-bezel ratio is good enough. The GT Neo 3 is the world’s first device to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 chipset based on TSMC’s 5nm node. It’s an octa-core processor that sports 4xCortex-A78 cores at 2.85GHz and 4xCortex-A55 cores running at 2GHz.

While the Realme GT Neo 3 is paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It has a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front side, a 16MP selfie shooter is placed as a punch-hole design on the display. It runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 skin by default.

Realme GT Neo 3 pricing starts from CNY 1,999 for the 80W charging variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. While the same 8GB RAM variant costs CNY 2,299 and the 12GB/256GB variant will cost CNY 2,599. Talking about the 150W UltraDart variant (typical 4,500mAh battery), it is priced at CNY 2,599 onwards. The smartphone should come to European and other Asian markets in a couple of weeks.
