Realme is continuously growing with its wide range of smartphones and the same is happening with the Realme GT family because the Realme GT Neo2 has been officially confirmed to launch pretty soon. Previously the GT Neo was launched early this year and the GT Neo2 will be the successor of it. This time unlike the GT Neo, the upcoming GT Neo2 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor out-of-the-box.
Snapdragon 870 is rumored to power the handset, but has yet to be officially confirmed. Realme’s Chinese Weibo account has been recently confirmed about the arrival of the GT Neo2 in the Chinese market soon. We can hope that the handset will soon arrive in India too. It’s also rumored that the model will be called GT Neo Gaming in some markets.
The handset has also been certified by 3C that revealed the 65W fast charging support (wired). Whereas some other leaks or rumors are coming out that the Realme GT Neo2 will come up with a 6.62-inches Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It’ll be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
On the other side, a triple rear camera setup of 64MP primary + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP depth or macro lens will take place. While a 16MP selfie shooter on the front and a 4,500mAh – 5,000mAh battery capacity could be present. It should run on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
Talking about the overall design form factor, it looks quite similar to the newly released OnePlus Nord 2 with some minor tweaks on the camera module. We hope that the Realme GT Neo2 won’t be a rebranded variant of the OnePlus model. As OnePlus is merged with OPPO recently and Realme is a sub-brand of OPPO, anything can be possible. We will have to wait further to know more about the GT Neo2 model in the upcoming weeks.
