Redmi 10 Prime India launch imminent, phone spotted on SIG certification website

Earlier this week, the Redmi 10 Prime was spotted on the IMEI database. Now, it looks like the phone has received Bluetooth SIG certification. At this point, we can safely say that the Redmi 10 Prime will surely be coming to the Indian smartphone market.

This is backed by the phone’s model number 21061119BI, which confirms that the phone will be named Redmi 10 Prime in India. The model numbers 21061119AG, 21061119AL, and 21061119DG already belong to the Redmi 10 series.

Coming to the Redmi 10, the phone features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and is backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone features a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP selfie camera in the camera department. All of this is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that comes with an 18W fast charging capability.

While the IMEI listing does not reveal much about Redmi 10 Prime, the listing does show that this new Redmi phone will offer Bluetooth 5.2 and run on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

However, the company recently shared an official phone poster that confirms that the Redmi 10 will come with a 50 MP quad camera setup. Having said that, there are barely any details available about the Redmi 10 Prime.
