Redmi Note 10 Series Will Sport 108MP Camera, Confirmed Xiaomi

Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 10 series. The upcoming smartphone series under the brand name Redmi will make its debut in India and Global markets on March 4. Xiaomi Redmi’s India branch has confirmed the launch date and revealed that the Redmi Note 10 series will come with a 108-megapixel camera.

Also Redmi India took to Twitter to share the camera detail and the launch date of the Redmi Note 10 series. The company said that the phone series will bring the first 108MP flagship camera. However, this is not the first Redmi Note series to sport a 108MP camera sensor. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G also featured a 108MP sensor, however, it’s only available in China. In India, it is available as Mi 10i. Now, with the launch of the Redmi Note 10 series, the powerful camera sensor will get to the Indian and global counterparts as well.

Redmi Note 10 Series Will Sport 108MP Camera, Confirmed Xiaomi

As per the reports, the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series will finally switch to the AMOLED display technology. Earlier, the company used LCD IPS displays on its phones with a 60Hz refresh rate. But, considering the POCO released a phone with a 120Hz refresh rate, we believe that the Redmi Note 10 should also feature a high refresh rate screen. Further, past leaks also suggest that the vanilla model will use an AMOLED display. It means that the Pro model will also feature the same technology.

Apart from this, speculations are that the Note 10 Pro variant will come with 5G connectivity. Some rumors claim that it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC. However, we see that the Snapdragon 768G chipset comes on “premium mid-range” and expensive phones. So it’s unlikely that Xiaomi will use this SoC in its Note 10 Pro. We expect it to use a slightly cheaper chipset. On the vanilla Note 10 model, there could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor.

That’s all that we currently know about the Redmi Note 10 series and we expect more details to come before the lineup launches on March 4.
