Rumors deny the possibilities of OnePlus 9T or OnePlus 9T Pro

Like every year, fanboys are waiting for the updated version of the OnePlus 9 series that usually comes out in the fall. But, according to a rumor, this year, we won’t be seeing the OnePlus 9T or the OnePlus 9T Pro.

Instead, what you will get is the Nord midrange series. Having said that, the rumor is yet unconfirmed, with OnePlus keeping their lips tight on the matter. Honestly, we would be bummed if OnePlus has no plans to launch these devices this year.

Some people suggest it is linked to the global chip shortage that has been affecting the electronics industry as a whole. Others suggest that the company hasn’t been able to improve anything compared to the existing hardware they have to offer.

Last month, the company officially merged with Oppo and brought the ColorOS-based Oxygen OS 11.3 on their recent midrange device, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. If OnePlus decides to go down the one flagship every year model this year, we might see a similar trend in the coming future.
