Samsung is rumored to launch two new smartwatches — the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 — in the next few months. It looks like the South Korean tech giant is going to launch its next Galaxy Watch series soon with two new watches. As per the tipster, two smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4, could arrive in the next few months. Considering the rumors heating up, it looks like we might hear some official answers in the coming days or weeks.
According to a report from IceUniverse, the South Korean technology company is preparing to release two new smartwatches this year. Like said before, these include the Galaxy Watch 4, which is a sequel to last year’s Galaxy Watch 3, and the Watch Active 4, which is an overdue successor to the Galaxy Watch Active 2. This year’s launch seems to be happening well ahead of the schedule and surprisingly, this time the company is bringing two smartwatches instead of one-by-one.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series May Launch in Q2 2021
According to the tipster, the company’s plan to launch its upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 series sometime during Q2 2021. So, the watch could launch anytime between April and June, if the report turns out to be true. The other watch may also launch around the same time or later.
Currently, Scoop Square24 discovered that there is no official word from Samsung about this rumored release, but it looks like the company will now switch to Android instead of using Tizen. In fact, there is also the possibility of using Wear OS on these upcoming Galaxy watches. The report also hints of a blood glucose monitoring feature, which means the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 2 could come loaded with advanced health monitoring features.
