Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S22 Launch Dates Leaked

Back in September, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 FE, and now the company is working on its successor, the Galaxy S21 FE. But ahead of its release, the launch date for the upcoming smartphone has leaked online. According to tipster Jon Prosser, the Unpacked event for the Galaxy S21 FE is set for January 4, 2022. The tipster also leaked the launch date for the company’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S22 series.

According to a tweet from Jon Prosser, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will launch on January 4, 2022, and the Galaxy S22 series will be unveiled on February 8, 2022. He also mentioned that the S21 FE will have no pre-order period and will go on sale from January 11 onwards. However, the upcoming flagship Galaxy S22 series will launch on February 8, 2022, at 10:00 am ET (8:30 pm IST), and pre-orders will begin on the same day. The Galaxy S22 series will be available for sale from February 18, 2022, onwards. Note that this is pure speculation, and there’s no official word from Samsung regarding the phones’ launch.

The Galaxy S21 FE will have a similar design pattern as the Galaxy S21 series. Reports indicate that it will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. This phone is expected to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC. Apart from this, the Galaxy S21 FE will come with 25W fast charging with a 4,500mAh battery packed inside.

The upcoming Galaxy S22 series has been in leaks for quite some time, and various details about the phones have already surfaced. Earlier, Prosser leaked hands-on images of the Galaxy S22 Ultra model, revealing the hole-punch display with curved edges. The images also suggested that the top-end model could have a dedicated space for an S Pen. The phone appeared to have a quad rear camera setup with an LED flash module.
