The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is getting a lot of leaks and rumors for the past couple of months and it seems that the release date gets delayed due to the chipset manufacturing crisis. Although there is a couple of news or reports coming around, recently SAMMOBILE has gone through the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE user manual. Now, if you’re one of the Samsung fans or waiting for the S21 FE lineup then this information may disappoint you up to some extent.
According to the respective source, it looks like that the user manual doesn’t mention anything about the MicroSD card slot on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (5G) model which is pretty unexpected because the current generation Samsung Galaxy S20 FE or S20 FE 5G came with a single Nano-SIM slot or a hybrid SIM slot those who want to expand the memory externally.
Why no charger and microSD slot in Samsung Galaxy S21 FE?
Talking about some of the features, the user manual mentions the IP68 water & dust resistance rating (up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes), an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a higher refresh rate screen, triple rear camera setup with a similar design like what we’ve already seen on Galaxy A52/A72 model more or less. Obviously, the user manual doesn’t say anything specific about the hardware specification in brief.
However, we can still assume that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE edition will come up with a couple of more features such as Dolby Atmos, Wireless DeX, Samsung Pay, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, USB Type-C port, and more. But it seems that this time the company has decided to ditch both the proprietary charger and microSD slot (hybrid) from the device out-of-the-box which may seem unnecessary to most of the users.
Well, not including the charger with the smartphone means users will have to buy the official fast charger or 15W-25W adapter separately if they don’t have a USB Type-C charger or fast charger. Additionally, the Galaxy S21 FE also seems to lack a 3.5mm audio jack which will be a big blow because not everyone uses wireless headphones or earbuds yet. So, either user has to depend on the Type-C headphone or a Type-C to a 3.5mm headphone adapter.
Previously, some other reports said that the phone will use a Snapdragon 888 SoC in some markets and Exynos 2100 SoC in other markets. It could also feature the 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage variants. There could be a 4,500mAh battery capacity and 25W fast charging support (expectedly).
