Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G scores 124 points in DxOMark Camera Test, an improvement over its predecessors

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold3 5G foldable smartphone is one of the finest foldable devices currently available on the market and was launched a few months ago. This phone has all the flagship hardware and a very premium design that grabs attention. For those who are not familiar with DxOMark, it’s an independent commercial camera benchmarking website that analyzes camera lenses, sensors, and quality across the board. DxOMark evaluates lens quality, camera quality, and smartphone quality on an extremely high level. In a recent DxOMark Camera Review, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G model scored 124 points, indicating significant improvement.

DxOMark determined the camera score after testing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G over the course of nearly three months. The phone’s rear camera has a triple 12MP setup with wide (f/1.8)+telephoto (f/2.4)+ultrawide (f/2.2) capabilities as well as OIS, Dual Pixel PDAF, and HDR. In the DxOMark Camera Review, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G currently ranks 24 on the all-time leaderboard, which is impressive.

Additionally, it is quite ahead of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra, which also has impressive camera reviews and top-notch camera specifications. Based on the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G camera review, though there is some noise and color shifts in zoomed images or videos, the amount of noise is much less than the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Unlike other Galaxy flagships, the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G foldable model doesn’t have any autofocus mode problems, and the color rendering, texture, and exposure are better as well. DxOMark also noted that there are some occasional jitters in the camera app UI, a low level of detail preservation in low-light conditions, and low light noise in videos that need improving.
