Samsung Gallery app allows users to edit date and time of images

Samsung is literally trying to implement more and more features or improvements to its Galaxy devices as well as the stock UI. Meanwhile, the stock Samsung apps also come with a lot of features or improvements that no one can deny. Samsung Gallery app allows users to edit the date and time of images quite easily which is a newly added feature for Galaxy device users.

So, if you’re using a Samsung Galaxy device, and trying to edit a photo in the stock Samsung Gallery app then it’ll help you a lot. Apart from Remaster option, the Gallery app also offers an option to change the date and time of a photo. We’re already capable to change the file name or its location for a while.

The new Gallery app version that runs on the One UI 4.0 Beta based on Android 12 is currently available for the Galaxy S21 series only as a part of the beta program. If you’re one of the beta testers then just head over to the Samsung Gallery app then open the image or video that you’re looking to edit and then swipe up on it to see the details page. Here you can tap on the small arrow icon on the right side of the screen then tap on Edit and then tap on a date to do the necessary changes.

This latest version of the Gallery app isn’t available for the Android 11 or older generation OS running Galaxy devices yet. It’ll take some time to add this feature to the stable version.
