Samsung Galaxy smartphone users mostly prefer Samsung Galaxy wireless earbuds to get an enhanced sound listening experience. However, it seems that using a 3.5mm audio jack was way better and cool in the past. But nothing to do right now as smartphone OEMs are removing headphone ports from their devices and pushing the users to adopt wireless connectivity for calling or audio listening. Meanwhile, some reports are coming out that Samsung One UI users can get better audio quality on earphones using Adapt Sound.

This is one of the useful features provided by Samsung for its One UI running devices out of the box that offers adaptive audio quality depending on the surrounding noise up to some extent. If in case, you’re already using a premium quality wireless headphones or earbuds with your Galaxy device then you’re most probably getting a stunning sound listening experience. However, irrespective of what type of headphones you’re using, you can get higher audio quality with the ‘Adapt Sound’ feature.

Adapt Sound is an accessibility feature that can improve the audio hearing experience better than usual. Because it’s quite obvious that not everyone hears the same things, in the same way, depending on the age factor or noise level. So, the Adapt Sound feature automatically calculates which frequencies the user listens to most of the time.

How to enable Adapt Sound in One UI

  • Go to the Settings app on your Samsung Galaxy device.
  • Head over to ‘Accessibility’ > Tap on ‘Hearing enhancements’.

  • Now, tap on ‘Adapt sound’ > Make sure to select one preset from the list or create a custom audio profile by tapping on ‘Test my hearing’.

  • Once done, make sure to check out the audio quality.

You can either select the Adapt Sound for Media and calls or only media or only calls option. Additionally, there are three types of options listed that you can choose from. Such as Under 30 years old (boost high frequencies), 30 to 60 years old (boost high/mid frequencies), Over 60 years old (boost all frequencies).

So, select the type according to your age and preference then you can easily configure/adjust the sound levels by tapping on the settings menu (cogwheel icon) next to the selected type.
