A brand new budget segment truly wireless earbuds (TWS) called the Sony WF-C500 have been announced by Sony in India. As this is a budget-centric TWS earbud, it can easily compete with Nothing Ear 1 and OnePlus Buds Z. It’s battery life can last up to 20 hours and it comes with IPX4 splash and sweat resistance.
Sony WF-C500 TWS Price and Availability
In terms of price, the Sony WF-C500 TWS earbuds retail for Rs 5,990 (INR), which is more in line with the budget-segment TWS earbuds on the market. For the same price range, you can also choose Nothing Ear (1) or OnePlus Buds Z that have ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). Furthermore, these TWS earbuds offer bigger drivers and more features than a pair of standard earbuds. In contrast, the Sony WF-C500 currently doesn’t offer ANC, which is somewhat disappointing.
Sony’s affordable TWS earbuds will be available for purchase via Sony retail stores, www.ShopatSC.com portal, all the major offline electronic stores, other e-commerce websites, etc. It will be available starting January 16, 2022. For high-quality audio and calls, the Sony WF-C500 comes with Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE).

With the Headphones Connect app, you can adjust the sound via Equalizer Settings. The TWS earbuds also support 5.8mm dynamic Neodymium audio drivers which will provide a bass-heavy music listening experience overall.
The earbuds also feature an in-ear design which is small and compact enough for longer usage without any irritation or pain. The device also comes with a cylindrical charging case that is lightweight and easy to transport. There are four color options available with the Sony WF-C500 TWS earbuds: black, white, orange, and green.
It offers up to 10 hours of battery life, which is extended to 20 hours when a charging case is used. Additionally, the device supports fast charging, which can recharge the battery for an hour of playback time in just 10 minutes.
