Sources have indicated that Nintendo might reveal the DLC fighters that is reportedly coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The company might make the announcement at the E3 2021 Direct.

Having said that, Nintendo is yet to make any formal announcement regarding the same. The news comes from a leak from the publisher itself that indicates that something regarding the Smash was to be announced at the event.

Nintendo’s YouTube channel had a playlist that was updated recently about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the director Masahiro Sakurai. The playlist comprises of videos where the director can be seen talking about new characters that have made their way to their game.

It now contains two hidden videos, which might be made public during or after the E3 2021 Direct event. It might also mean that more fighters might be coming to the game. Having said that, one of the videos may be a presentation from Sakurai, whereas the other one could be a character reveal trailer. All these are just speculations, and nothing is concrete at the time of writing.

Another interesting thing to note is that Nintendo hasn’t used the playlist in quite a while. There’s a chance that these videos were uploaded few months ago and someone has noticed it now.

We advise you to take this leak with a grain of salt. Maybe its better to wait for Nintendo to make the announcement formally before getting too excited. Do you want Nintendo to release a new DLC fighter? Do share your thoughts!
