Taiwanese tech giant Asus is doing really well with its ROG gaming smartphone segment for a couple of years. ROG gaming phones are quite raw performers in mobile gaming and they’re optimized pretty well with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset out of the box. Even though the pricing of the ROG phones is on the higher side, they offer worth value for money. Recently, a couple of reports has been surfaced that an upcoming Asus ROG Phone 6 renders unveiled a stunning new back panel design with a horizontal camera module.
In a report by the popular leaker Evan Blass on 91mobiles, the device renders revealed that a couple of design changes will take place for sure. Asus is all set to release the ROG Phone 6 model on July 5, 2022. ROG phones do have a different design and build quality always. Moreover, this time the company has achieved more stunning design changes and a horizontal rear camera setup at the back.
Well, the new design overview is eye-catching in every aspect and has a hardcore gaming vibe. As a cooling aspect, Asus will offer a detachable fan called the ‘AeroActive Cooler 6’. There is also a render of the Devilcase Guardian Lite Plus back cover that looks dope with the ROG Phone 6.
Asus mostly uses the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with their ROG Phone models as a flagship segment. This time the ROG Phone 6 should come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The company has also officially claimed that it’ll be the world’s 1st gaming smartphone with the IPx4 splash-resistant rating.
However, there are no more details available yet on the device specifications, other additional features, and most importantly market pricing. As the launch date is coming in the next week, we’ll have to wait further.
