A London-based tech company called ‘Nothing’ is seriously impressing tech enthusiasts recently by releasing a pair of TWS earbuds on the market. After the popularity and success of the unique-looking wireless earbuds, now the company is focused on the Nothing Phone (1) model to release soon in the market. And guess what? The upcoming Nothing Phone 1 overall specifications have been leaked online ahead of the official launch.
Well, it seems that the ‘Nothing Phone’ or to be very precise ‘Nothing Phone 1’ will be the first-ever Android smartphone from the brand which is obviously well developed & designed as a mass attraction. The leaked images of the first generation of the Nothing handset look really promising in terms of the overall design, form factor, punch-hole selfie camera cutout on the display, no bezels or chin around the display, and more.
The device will likely to be introduced as a flat display handset that includes a 6.55-inches OLED screen with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. However, there is no confirmation whether the display supports a higher refresh rate or not. Additionally, the expected specifications suggest that it’ll have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (SD778G) processor with some sort of optimizations or customizations whatsoever.
The built-in 8GB of RAM & 128GB onboard storage capacity will be available for the starting variant as per reports. Whereas the Nothing Phone 1 might come with Android 12 OS out of the box. Now, we don’t even know whether the brand will go for a stock Android UI or a Nothing-patented customized skin for their Android devices.
Apart from that, the handset might come with a triple rear camera setup of 50MP+8MP+2MP including OIS support and a 32MP selfie shooter expectedly. Though the battery details aren’t confirmed yet, it’s expected to have a typical 4,500-5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. While the Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, necessary sensors, NFC, etc connectivity options should be present.
It’s also expected that the Nothing Phone 1 device might come with a fully transparent back cover out of the box to showcase the beautifully crafted hardware placements to continue the legacy of Nothing Ear 1 earbuds.
