Last month, we did mention that Samsung is most probably working on its new ISOCELL HP3 camera sensor which can work seamlessly with a 200MP lens in a tiny size. Meanwhile, some reports are also coming out that Xiaomi is now working on its upcoming flagship 200MP camera smartphone that may have Samsung’s same ISOCELL HP3 sensor.
Yes! It’s been a year or so since the South Korean tech giant Samsung launched its first-ever 200MP camera sensor. But it’s quite unfortunate that Samsung hasn’t released any of its flagship devices yet with that 200MP camera sensor in the market. But the chances are high that the brand is most likely to come up with its first-ever 200MP camera smartphone later this year.
It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra would be the 200MP camera smartphone in the Galaxy series with an ISOCELL HP1 sensor. But there is no official announcement made yet. Whereas the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is also on the same list as Samsung, as per several reports. That means Xiaomi is also trying to release its first-ever 200MP camera smartphone model called ‘Xiaomi 12T Pro‘ later this year.
Just like other flagship killer models by Xiaomi, this one will also gonna be an affordable flagship device with a smaller camera bump on the rear side. So, we’re assuming that Xiaomi won’t gonna use the previous generation ISOCELL HP1 camera sensor which may cost a higher value. So, we might see the toned-down version ISOCELL HP3 sensor in the market.
The rumored Xiaomi 12T Pro model is expected to have a 120Hz OLED display panel (Full HD+) with a punch-hole camera design. It’s also expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 8GB/12GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of onboard storage, a typical 5,000mAh battery, ultra-fast 120W fast charging (wired) technology, and more.
While the device may feature a typical fast wireless charging feature too. There are no additional details available yet about the handset. So, we’ll have to wait for the same.
In the same context as the 200MP camera smartphone, the Lenovo-owned Motorola brand is also planning to launch the Motorola X30 Pro model with a 200MP ISOCELL HP1 camera sensor in the market. It could be the industry-first device to get released in the market than anyone else.
As per reports, the Motorola X30 Pro model may feature a 144Hz OLED display, a 60MP selfie camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera on the rear side, and a typical 4,500mAh battery with 125W fast wired charging. As mentioned, not a single brand yet announced any kind of 200MP camera device officially. So, leaks and rumors are around us right now.
