Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has silently launched the all-new Redmi 9 Activ model in India and there is also a listing on Amazon for the device. The handset is going to be put on sale on Friday, September 24, 2021, in India via Amazon & the official Xiaomi website. Whereas some reports are coming that the Redmi 9A Sport model will also arrive anytime soon in India.
It seems that the Redmi 9 Activ comes as a new variant of the original Redmi 9 model which includes the same dual rear cameras, an HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, etc. While the Redmi 9A Sport will be a new variant of the original Redmi 9A model. However, there are no clear hardware specifications mentioned yet by the company for the released Redmi 9 Activ model.
Redmi 9 Activ Specifications (Expected)
The Redmi 9 Activ is expected to have the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with two storage variants such as 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Additionally, reports are suggesting that the Redmi 9 Activ will come in a new Metallic Purple color option.
The device could feature a 6.53-inches HD+ display, a 13MP dual rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh non-removable battery, and more. While the rest of the other specs should be the same as the previous generation of Redmi 9.
Redmi 9A Sport Specifications (Expected)
The Redmi 9A Sport is rumored to arrive soon in India with a new Metallic Blue color option. It’s expected to come in 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variants. The device may come with the same 6.53-inches HD+ display, Helio G25 SoC, a 13MP rear camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and more. It’ll be another under 10K priced budget category smartphone from Xiaomi in India.
