Google is all set to launch its first home-grown Tensor SoC-powered smartphones — the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro — later today. The launch event, called Pixel Fall Event, will begin at 10:00 AM PT (10:30 PM IST) and will be live-streamed online for the fans to see. While the event is still a few hours away, we already have a hands-on with the much-hyped Google handset — thanks to the courtesy of SnoopyTech. Here we bring you the live pictures of the Pixel 6 handset ahead of the launch.
Tipster SnoopyTech has shared his hands-on experience with the upcoming Pixel 6 smartphone on Twitter. He shared images of the smartphone from various angles showing how the device looks and feels in the user’s hand. In the images, we can see the unique camera strip that the tech giant revealed a few days ago. The side bezels look quite nice but are a little thicker than expected, which may be a turn down for users who like slimmer phones. You can see the images of Pixel 6 below.
Google Pixel 6 Specs and Pricing
The Google Pixel 6 series consists of two models, the base Pixel 6 and the Pro version. Both the phones will feature a dual-tone design and have a unique camera module strip. The regular Pixel 6 will come with a dual rear camera setup, while the Pro model will have triple rear cameras. As mentioned before, the Pixel 6 phones will be the first devices to feature Google’s home-grown Tensor chipset. The launch event, as mentioned, will begin today at 10:30 PM IST and will be live-streamed on the Made by Google YouTube channel.
Speaking of the Pixel 6 price, we recently saw the Pixel 6 US pricing leak through a retailer website. As per the leaks, the base model will carry a price tag of $599 (roughly ₹45,900) for 128GB. On the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro will be priced at $898 (approx ₹67,500) for the base 128GB option. Similarly, the Europe prices for the Pixel 6 series have also been tipped in the recent past. In Europe, the base Pixel 6 is tipped to carry a price tag of EUR 649 (roughly ₹56,200), and the Pro model will retail for EUR 899 (approx ₹77,900).
