Nothing brand is new in the tech industry and the company has just released its first-ever Android smartphone called ‘Nothing Phone 1‘ in the market. Previously, the brand did release Nothing Ear 1 wireless earbuds which have started some craze and hype for the upcoming smartphone. Well, the company has successfully achieved the much-awaited hype for the release of Nothing Phone 1 until last week. Now, Nothing Phone 1 starts receiving its first-ever Nothing OS 1.1.0 software OTA update with the latest July 2022 patch and other improvements too.
Talking about the release of the Nothing Phone 1, the launch went smooth enough, and initial buyers were happy enough with the look, design, glyph LED indicators, and overall performance. But this recent software update seems buggy enough from the brand to ruin the user experience. Multiple reports are coming out that the latest Nothing OS 1.1.0 update causes the green tint issue on the screen. Whereas some of the users are facing the dead pixel issue around the front camera cutout area at the top-left corner.
Well, there is nothing perfect in this world, and so the Nothing Phone 1. Hopefully, the Nothing Support team will respond to this screen issue as early as possible. Now, coming to the software update, it includes the latest July 2022 security patch apart from camera improvements, glyph appearing improvements, and more. The update is currently rolling out in Europe and Asia region.
It also includes the HDR10 support for the OLED screen which is a big improvement. As mentioned, the Nothing OS 1.1.0 OTA update based on Android 12 is rolling out in a phased manner to its users depending on the region and carrier support. So, it may take some time to arrive at the OTA update notification on your Nothing Phone 1 handset respective to the region.
As per XDA Developers, the new software update also includes the experimental Tesla control feature and an NFT widget which might be useful enough for a bunch of users. Whereas the camera image processing improvement has been optimized in this update. It seems that Nothing brand is trying to push fixes and improvements quite faster to make users happy as early as possible.
