The all new Realme GT 5G will be launched on August 18 in India. Having said that, the company has teased the phone on several occasions. The company has again shared a new teaser, suggesting that the phone will be the cheapest Snapdragon 888 phone in the country.
The processor is often found in flagship devices, and this is the first part it will be coming to a mid-range device. If the rumours about Realme GT 5G turn out to be true, then it will be launched with a price tag of Rs. 35,000. This will help Realme GT 5G to compete with the likes of Mi 11X Pro and the iQOO 7 Legend, both of which fall under the sub 40K category.
The Realme GT 5G and the Realme GT Master Edition will soon be available in India starting tomorrow.
The Snapdragon 888 is based on the 5nm process and is an octa-core processor and an integrated 5G modem. The clock speed is set at 2.8GHz and is paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It is also compatible with 5G, NFC and Wi-Fi 6E. The screen is a humongous 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate, along with a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. All of this is backed by a 65W fast charging.
