Originally launched in March this year, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is the company’s first-ever foldable smartphone. It was launched in the Chinese market with a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2.
The Mi Mix Fold has a primary foldable display on the inside as well as a secondary display on the cover of the phone. According to the IMEI database, the phone, which was available only in the Chinese market, might launch globally soon.
According to the known tipster Mukul Sharma, the global variant will have the model number M2011J18G. Interestingly, the same model number was registered on the Indian IMEI database, indicating that the phone will be released in India as well.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Mi Mix Fold comes with an 8.01-inch screen on the inside. It is an OLED panel that offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. On the outside, the phone features a 6.52-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Having said that, the resolution of the outer display is 2520×840. Talking about internals, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with 16GB of RAM and 512Gb of internal storage. The phone comes with Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.
The Mi Mix Fold has a quad-camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP Macro lens, and another 8MP telephoto lens that supports up to 30x zoom. The front of the phone sports a 20MP shooter. It is fueled by a 5,020mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The speakers are powered by Harmon Kardon.
