The iQOO brand is a sub-brand of Vivo that was started by the company last year. It aims to provide features and specs found on high-end devices at an affordable price tag. The company’s latest offering is the iQOO 7 Legend. The Indian variant of the iQOO 7 Legend was recently spotted on the Google Play Console website. The listing also reveals the key specifications of the phone.
The company has also officially announced the launched date of the upcoming iQOO 7 series as April 26, 2021. It will comprise of two phones, namely, the iQOO 7 and the iQOO 7 Legend. We should note that the latter is a rebranded iQOO Neo 5.
Spotted on the Google Play Console by Mukul Sharma, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC backed by 12GB of RAM. It will run Android 11 out of the box and come with a Full HD + display. The GPU used in the phone is the Adreno 660. The listing also includes the renders of the phone. The images show that the phone will offer the standard punch-hole cutout on the front, curved edges, and narrow bezels.
iQOO has confirmed that both phones will offer advanced Liquid Cooling for dissipation of the heat generated. The company is using copper tubes to divert the heat away from the SoC and directs it to the graphite plate that is comparatively cooler. The iQOO 7 Legend will make use of a Vapor Chamber that has a surface area of 4,096 sq. mm. It is used in conjunction with the “capillary structure and power pump” which will enable the phone to dissipate heat efficiently and quickly.
There is no word on the pricing of the iQOO 7 Legend as of now, so iQOO fans will have to wait few more days to know the same.
