If you are a fan of the “Cobra Kai” series, we have some news for you.
Ever since the third season of the series came out in January this year, fans have been eagerly awaiting new episodes. And now it seems like they won’t have to wait much longer.
According to a report by Deadline, Netflix’s Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said that fans would be able to stream the series sometime in Q4 2021.
What it means is that Cobra Kai Season 4 will be available on the streaming service sometime later this year, in October, November, or December.
The show creators posted a picture of themselves on Instagram with the caption,
We’re going, going, back, back, to Cali, Cali! Cobra Kai Season 4 is officially WRAPPED! It was a challenging adventure filming a season of TV during a pandemic, but our cast and crew waxed on, struck hard, and bit like eagles each and every day. The end result will be our most ambitious season yet!
To our amazing team who worked their asses off morning, noon, and night, sometime on weekends, and often in brutal weather, thank you for fighting the good fight alongside us! Your dedication to awesomeness is much appreciated! Hopefully next time, you’ll be able to see the smiles that were plastered behind our masks and shields all season! Much love and No Mercy! — Jon, Josh, and Hayden
This month, in an interview with the “Cobra Kai Kompanion” podcast, two of the three show creators – Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald refused to tell fans anything when asked about the fourth season of the show.
Hurwitz, however, gave a vague answer but said that he could not say anything because it is hard to know when the show will come out when working with a company like Netflix.
According to the Executive Producer,
We can say that you will get the show. And I think we’re confident that you will get it in quarter four this year because, you know, the head honcho at Netflix [Ted Sarandos] has put that into the ether.
Another good news is that Terry Silver will mark an appearance in the show and help sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove) in the upcoming episodes. The creators added,
Since the beginning of the series, we’ve been carefully orchestrating the right moment to unleash Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver back into the universe. That moment is now. We can’t wait for the whole world to experience Thomas Ian Griffith’s majestic return to the franchise.
